Accessibility
Last updated: July 2026
We want ClearMint Essentials — our browser-based web app — to be usable by as many people as possible. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our benchmark.
What we do
- Semantic HTML, labelled form fields, and keyboard-operable controls.
- Readable color contrast and resizable text.
- Clear focus states and descriptive link text.
- Privacy-masked analytics so session recordings do not capture your financial figures (see our Privacy Policy).
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work. Some areas still need improvement, including:
- Spreadsheet-style transaction tables and drag-and-drop interactions — screen-reader support is partial.
- The AI assistant chat panel — streaming text updates may not always be announced cleanly by assistive technology.
- Third-party flows such as Plaid Link, Stripe Checkout and Google sign-in — accessibility is controlled by those providers.
- Beta features may change layout or behaviour without full accessibility review.
If you hit a barrier, please tell us — your feedback directly shapes our priorities.
