Which account types are supported
Support varies by institution and provider — not every provider covers every product at every bank. We show what's available per institution rather than making blanket claims. Across supported banks, ClearMint can bring in:
Chequing & savings
Day-to-day and savings accounts, with balances and transaction history.
Credit cards
Statement balances, available credit and posted transactions.
Loans, mortgages & lines of credit
Balances and payment activity, where the institution exposes them.
Investments & brokerage
Holdings and balances from supported investment providers.

How connections keep your data safe
No credentials in ClearMint
You never type your online-banking username or password into ClearMint. Authentication happens through the supported provider or your financial institution.
Read-only connections
Connections bring balances and transactions in. ClearMint can't move money or make changes at your bank.
Availability can change
Banks and providers update their connections over time. When one is unavailable, we surface an alternative where we can.
File import always works
If automatic connection isn't available, import OFX, CSV or a PDF statement — every feature works the same.
